    C.T. (Red) Graves 8th Air Force, WWII, Radio Operator B-17G. Shot down and captured on tenth mission over the “Battle of the Bulge”. Landed in “No Man’s Land and picked up by the Nazis and imprisoned at Dulag Luft for interrogation. From there to Stalag – Luft XIII-C, at Nuremberg and evacuated from there to Stalag VII-A at Moosburg about 40km from Munich, until the war was over. I volunteered while a senior at VA. Tech & after my discharge (10/29/45. Went back to VT and received a BS degree in 1946.. A more detailed story is in a book “Silent Heroes among us” published in 1997.
