Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, he joined military service through the U.S. Navy and completed his service with the Army Air Corps, through its transition to the U.S. Air Force, where he flew in the B-29 as the radar/communications technician. He reached the rank of Corporal and earned the WWII Victory Medal.
Entered Pennsylvania State University and graduated with an electrical engineering degree.
His successful career included working at Rockwell, where he was on the initial radar and communication systems team for the Space Shuttle and the B-1B Lancer.
Always had his eyes toward heaven, space, and the stars...
