    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Brief sequences of association with aviation that I have been fortunate to experience during my lifetime: Initial flight training in four CPT government programs during 1939/1941 followed by employment as a flight instructor in the same category until reassigned to military Pre-Glider Program during the summer of 1942. Returned to CPT instructor status until employed by United Air Lines on 8/20/1943 to the mandatory retirement age of 60 that concluded flying aircraft from DC-3s to Boeing 747s. Two of the 35 plus years with United were on the military airlift contract during 1950/1951 operating between California and Japan.
