Capt. Al Marsh, Jr. began his career as a commercial airline pilot, April 27, 1956, with Capital Airlines, based in Detroit, Mi. and Minneapolis, Mn. With Capital Airlines, he flew the DC 3, DC 4, DC 6 and Viscount. In 1961, Capital Airlines and United Airlines merged and we were based in Chicago, Il., flying out of O’Hare Airport. With United Airlines, Al flew the B 737, B 727 and retired on the DC 10, March 28, 1989, at age 60. Capt. Marsh passed away Jan. 27, 1992.
