Born in 1944 in Canberra, Australia. Fell in love with aeroplanes from the age of five. Spent his younger years cycling out to the local airport to watch the planes and pilots coming and going. After flying a C172 to Papua, New Guinea to gain experience for his commercial license he stayed there and flew a Mission C180, C337 and BN21 planes. From there onto F28, B707-338, A300B4, A310-300 ad then joined Singapore Airlines in early 1991 as a Captain on B747-200/300 then Airbus A340-300 and finishing up his career with a B747-400 command – his favorite plane. After an interlude of gliding, sailing and a try at skydiving now about to buy a light plane. Has about 23, 000 hours.
