USNR designated Naval Aviator in May 1967. Flew A-4 Skyhawks with Attack Squadron 76 (VA76) from Oct. 1967 to Feb. 1969. While in VRF32 flew A-7 Corsairs and F-4 Phantoms. Released from Active Duty 31 October 1969. Made one cruise in 1968 aboard the USS Independence in the Med.
Hired by United Airlines in Jan. 1970. Started flying First Officer in Oct. 1986. Made Captain in Jan 1990. Was type rated in 737, 757, 767,777. Retired Jan. 2002. Member of ALPHA 1978 to 2002.
