Completed fifty missions over France and Germany as pilot of B-26 Martin Marauder medium bomber. Only casualty was loss of little toe by tail gunner due to German flak. Brought home one bomber in such damaged condition it was scrapped and replaced. Had long and successful career as an attorney in Carthage, Missouri.
