1950: Korean War Veteran
4554: Flight Engineer on B36 (92nd Bomb Wing SAC) on history making 33 hour-6000 mile non stop flight from Fairchild AFB, Spokane, Wa. to Guam.
1963: Retired as a Radar Navigator Bombardier. Flew B-17's, B-29's, B-50's, B-36's and B-52's in his career.
Medals include: Air Medal w/ 4 Oak Leaf Clusters; Air Force Commendation; European African Middle Eastern Campaign with 3 Battle Stars and 9 Oak Leaf Clusters; United Nations Korean Campaign.
