    Ms. Deanna Dallolio Trudeau

As soon as he could walk and talk, David A. Dallolio knew he would take to the skies. To pay for flying lessons, he stocked shelves and filled orders at the Sweetheart Candy Company, where his father worked in sales. At the age of 16, Dave earned his private pilot's license on the J3 Cub at Schultzville airport near his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

After graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 1962, he received a commission in the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of flight school and additional training, Dave was assigned to squadron VR-3 based at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. As a member of the squadron, Dave flew the Douglas C-118 and the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules in support of U.S. Navy Military Air Transport Service (MATS) operations.

In 1966, Dave joined United Airlines as an Engineer on the McDonnell Douglas DC-8. During his 35 years with United, he also flew the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 and the Boeing 757 and 767. He retired on January 1, 2000 as a 767 Captain. Since 1962, Dave has been married to the love of his life, Marjorie Bezdziecki, with whom he has three daughters. They split their time between homes in Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania and in South Riding, Virginia, just minutes from the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the National Air and Space Museum.
