Love of flying started with a ride in a barnstorming Ford Tri Motor in 1939 at the age of seven. Flew and instructed at local airport in Salina, Kansas, the worked my way up the experience ladder by flying for a corporation, then all over the world with a Non-sked airline based in Europe. I flew anything and everything to anywhere. Finally, 32 years with United Airlines, ending my career on the B-747-400 flying to the Far East. It was a wonderful life.
