Eric Hassinger is a 1997 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. Eric received the Air Force’s Aeronautical Rating of Pilot by completing, in 1990, specialized undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas. He was recognized as a distinguished graduate and received the Flying Training Award and the prestigious Air Education Training Command Commander’s Trophy for being the top ranked T-38 Talon pilot in his class. He has subsequently been stationed at Langley AFB with the 94th Hat in the Ring Squadron, and most recently at Kadena AFB, Japan, flying the McDonnell Douglas F-15C eagle. Eric hails from Oak Hill, Virginia.
