    Floyd Andrew Friesen flew for the US Navy for 26 years (1953-1979). His aircraft included the AD-5W, S-2E and E-2A (Hawkeye). During his career, he was a flight squadron commander and executive officer of the USS Independence (CV-62). His family is very proud of his flight record and military commitment.
