Mr. Bill Burcham
Frank Burcham was born in Fayette, Montana in 1914. He served as a Naval Aviator from 1936 to 1940, then with Pan American and Trans World Airways as an airline pilot from 1940 to 1941. From 1941 to 1945 he served again as a Naval Aviator with the Naval Air Transport Service (NATS), rising to the rank of lieutenant commander. From 1945 to 1968 he was an airline pilot with Trans World Airlines. He is a charter member of "Tailspinners." He retired from the Aviation/Space Group, Frisco, Colorado.
