George Campbell was born March 5, 1916 and died March 16, 2001. He joined United Airlines in December 1941 and retired in March 1976.
He first flew the Boeing 247 transport and retired as a captain of the Boeing 747 wide body after 35 years of incident free flying and a job and career that he loved dearly.
