Captain Henderson's 39 years with United Airlines paralleled the growth of the industry from the Boeing 247 to the 747 jumbo jet. Along with Captain Sylvanus Devine he designed ALPA's Mutual Aid Program and was instrumental in the development of United's Pilot Pension Program. Born February 4, 1919, he died April 26,1998.
