George was always very much interested in Aviation since he was 7 years old. At 12, he joined the Civil Air patrol Cadets until 18. Then he moved on to USAF ROTC program, graduating as a Second Lt. He participated in the Grenada Campaign in 1984. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Combat Readiness USAF Medal, to name a few. After George was honorably discharged as a Capt., he joined the USAF Reserves and the Civil Air patrol until now.
