Glenn Gronquist was a member of the first class to graduate from United Air Lines training in 1941. They were dubbed the "Tracy Aces."
Starting as a co-pilot on Douglas DC-3's, he flew all the Douglas planes through the DC-8. When the Boeing 747 began flying to Honolulu, Glenn transferred to the West Coast. He flew his last flight on Christmas Day, 1978, after over 38 years with United Air Lines.
