Pilot, Boeing Air Transport, 1932 became United Airlines (UAL)
Retired UAL 1965 as most senior Captain to transition to flying DC-8 jet transports.
During WWII he served with Air Transport Command flying C-47s in Alaska, then C-87s and later C-54s in the Pacific Theater.
After airline retirement he was active in restoring and flying antique aircraft. The undersigned has a photo taken in 1969, showing him and Charles A. Lindbergh in his restored 1927 DeHavilland Gipsy Moth.
Died 1982.
