    Captain Hugh Ross Murphy served as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He joined the Air Force in 1966 and completed flight school in 1967. He went on to serve four years of active duty, one of which was in Vietnam. He was awarded many honors for his service including the Distinguished Flying Cross.

    After serving in the Air Force, Hugh became a Captain with Delta Airlines.

    Hugh was born in December of 1943 and passed in January 2022.
