Capt. J. B. “Barney” Hagen flew in the Royal Canadian Air Force for seven years. In the Air Force he flew the AVRO Canada CF-100, all weather interceptor and the McDonnell CF-101R Voodoo. Upon leaving the Air Force, Capt. Hagen flew for united Airlines for 34 years retiring in February of 1999.
