Learned to fly at age 16 in a Meyers GTW open cockpit Bi-plane, Commercial & Flight Instructor at 18, Instrument & Multi-engine Land & Sea Ratings at 19. Airline pilot, Hawaiian Airlines at 22. Bachelor Degree in Aeronautics at 23, then hired by Capital Airlines to continue Airline Pilot career. Merged into United Airlines in 1961. Retired as a Senior Boeing 747 Captain at age 60. Flew 70 different make and model general aviation aircraft, and starting with the DC-3 through the Boeing 747, flew 13 different Airliners. Still flying private aircraft at age 75.
