Jack was a CBI pilot. He flew the third plane into Shanghai in 1945. He worked for Western Electric for 32 years. He was active in many youth activities (scouts, baseball, football, etc.). During the Vietnam War, he was battalion commander of the Mid-Indiana National Guard Reserve.
