New York State Aviation School, Utica, NY. Entrance 3 June 1941, graduated 8 October 1942 as licensed aviation mechanic.
US Naval Reserve (USNR) Aviation Cadet 13 December 1942; commissioned an Ensign USNR Pensacola, FL 24 October 1944. Asssigned to Torpedo Squadron 11 as a TBM Avenger pilot. Released to inactive duty 6 December 1945.
Hired by Capital Airlines 11 July 1949. Retired by United Airlines 1 July 1981. Aircraft captained: DC-3, -6, -7, -8, -10, Vickers Viscount, Lockheed Constellation 1040, Boeing 727. Enjoyed it all.
