Jerry L. Proctor retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
In 1963 Jerry was awarded an Air Medal for his distinguished and meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flights with the 309th Tactical Fighter Squadron, in Operation Night Owl.
In 1966 Jerry served in Vietnam with the Wild Weasel 1 Project. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism while flying a combat mission with Wild Weasel 1 in Southeast Asia.
Jerry concluded his aviation career as a pilot for United Airlines and is a member of RUPA.
