Joe began flying general aviation aircraft in 1976. He became a flight instructor at El Monte, California, and spent more than 4000 hours teaching others to fly. Next, Joe was hired by Desert Sun Airlines, flying Navaho’s and Beech 99’s. Later, Joe worked as a Metroliner Captain for SkyWest Airlines. In 1989, America West Airlines hired Joe as a First officer in Dash-8 aircraft. Joe became a B-737 Captain and then flew the Airbus at “Cactus”. Joe is from Norco, California.
