Capt. Joel Palandro known by his friends as "Bo" began his aviation career at the United States Air force Academy. Upon graduation in 1976, Bo was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the USAF. He served as a T-38 instructor pilot and maintenance test pilot at Williams AFB, AZ from 1978-1981. Bo then went on to fly the C-5 Galaxy at Travis AFB, CA from 1981 to 1985. After nine years of serving his country, Bo separated from the USAF and accepted a flight officer position at Easter Airlines. Following two years of service, Bo then moved on to a position at Delta Airlines. For eighteen years and counting Bo has solidified his Delta career as a first officer and captain on the B-727, B-757, B-767 and B-737. He is married to the former Phyllis Harnden and has two children, Lauren and Anthony.
