Captain Galloway served in the Air Force for 11 years during which time she served as a missile control officer at Cheyenne Mountain and as one of the female officers going through programs at the Air Force Academy preparatory to the first class with female cadets. Capt. Galloway went through the Free Fall parachute program, resulting in equipment modifications to better suit women. Among her other assignments, she commanded a wing of trainees. I have met one of the women she inspired. She was an excellent role model.
