Born June 26, 1921 Washington County, Georgia. Entered U. S. Army Air Corps Cadet program in January 1942m Graduated from flying school as a pilot. Continued active duty until June 1946, as single and multiengine pilot and Maintenance engineering Officer. Active duty included domestic and overseas, serving in the China-Burma-India and the Middle East theatres as a four engine pilot. After release from active duty, Employed in the U. S. airline industry for 35 plus years. Served as a line captain, consultant and in various level of operation management. Co-developer of a computer based, schedule and airline operation modeling system. Retired from all aviation activity in 1981,
