Kent Parsons flew as a pilot with United Airlines from January 1970 to August 2001. He flew as a captain on: the Boeing 737-300 and -500, the Airbus 319 and 320, Boeing 757 and 767, and the 747-400.
He was a Naval Reserve Captain and Squadron Commander of VR-61, NAS Whidbey Island, WA. In the Navy he was designated Plane Commander in the C-118B (DC-6) and the C-9B (DC-9). He was a Vietnam veteran, and earned an Air Medal and Navy Commendation Award.
