    Arrived Pensacola August 1964. Flew P-3 Orions in North Atlantic on active and reserve duty. Left with rank of LCDR.

    Employed by United Airlines 1969. Began as B727 Flight Engineer. Furloughed in 1971 for 6-1/2 years. During furlough flew corporate aircraft including Gulfstream 1, HS-125, Falcon 20, and Learjet.

    Returned to United Airlines 1977 and flew until retirement in 2002. Final flight was Hong Kong to O'Hare in B747-400. Retired with 25,000 flight hours and ratings of Airline Transport Pilot in the B747-400, B767, B757, B737, L-188, HS-125, Falcon 20, and Learjet.
