A science e teacher at Franklin High School in Los Angeles, CA who volunteered for duty in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He became a bombardier instructor and later served at West Point where he taught the use of the Norden Bomb Sight to cadets. After the war he became a private pilot and returned to teaching where he developed an aeronautics curriculum for his high school students.
