Mike graduated from U. C. Berkeley in June of 1962 and went directly into the U.S. Navy. Received a commission and completed flight training 1962.
Joined VS-35 in April of 1964 – flying the Grumman S-2 Tracker.
Joined United Airlines June, 1967. Retired in February, 1999; having flown DC-6, DC-8, DC-10, B-747, B-737, B-757, B-767 and retired as Captain on the Boeing 747-400.
