Captain Michael Lewis attended the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario. He completed his pilot training in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan whereupon he was selected among the elite to become a CF-18 pilot. Captain Lewis was posted to the 410 Squadron at 4 Wing Cold Lake in Cold Lake, Alberta.
