Capt. Patrick D. Guilfoile was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy as 1st Lieutenant and the U.S. Marine Corps as a jet fighter pilot.
He retired in 1991 after a 33-year career as a pilot with United Airlines. Culminating his service he flew Boeing 747 aircraft, carrying troops and personnel to and from the Middle East during "Operation Desert Storm" of the Gulf War.
He passed away and has "Flown West" on January 8, 20101, age 69 years old.
