Paul began his aviation career in 1973 as a flight instructor with Flight Safety in Vero Beach, Florida. He went on to flying as a pilot and check airman with Aero Mech Airlines in 1979. His career dreams came true when he was hired as a pilot with U.S. Airways in 1981. His great love of teaching was fulfilled as a check airman on the F-100, Boeing 767/757 and the Airbus A-330.
