Ken and I were two simple Iowa farm boys always fascinated with flying. born on a small farm in Iowa, and losing our Dad to cancer as small children, and growing up during Depression and recovery seemed to give us the will to win. Both of us served our country in the USAF. We both attended Spartan School of Aeronautics and got our Mechanics A & P License. We both worked as mechanics then later as Flight Engineers, and Co-pilots. We both flew piston-props and both flew various others until retiring on the 747-300 and 747-400.
