Captain Richard Jorgensen has spent his life in the pursuit of his love of aviation. His career began in 1962 as a pilot in the United State Air Force. Stationed in Japan, he saw much of the world, including Vietnam. In 1966, Richard accepted a position as a pilot for American Airlines. His passion for flying rewarded him with the best job in the world, as he spent the next 31 years doing what he loved the most. In 1997, he retired as a Senior International Captain on the Boeing 767. His days of flying passenger airlines may be past, but his love of flight will never fade. We love you dad and are so very proud of you!
