    Capt. Reser was born 1935 near Libend, Kansas during the “30’s Dust Bowl”. He learned to fly through the Air Force Aviation Cadet Program and the Air National Guard. He joined United Air Lines in 1966 and was mandatorily retired at age 60 in 1995. During his tenure with UAL, Capt Reser flew with the Air National Guard until his twenty year retirement. After retirement, Capt. Reser spent several years associated with aviation training and in cooperation with several Chinese Airlines and the Chinese Government, developed aviation English programs to allow student pilots to train and to qualify in jet transport aircraft.
