    After a career of forty years in the aviation industry having served as a Civilian Flight Instructor, an Instructor for Army and Navy Aviation Cadets, Pilot Training Officer and Plane Commander for the Naval Air Transport Service and was Vice President General Manager of TACA International Airlines, the Flag Carrier of El Salvador, 1958-61, he retired from United Airlines as Captain/Flight Instructor in 1976.
