    Born in 1929, Robert Burdick was a pilot for United Airlines from 1955 to 1989. He retired as a Boeing 747 captain. He spent much of his time and much of his treasure sharing his Christian walk. He created the "Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel" (FCAP) and was extensively involved in ferrying small airplanes around the world for Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) as well as donating his time and talents to Jungle Aviation and Radio Service (JAARS). He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He died in 2003.
