Born 6-25-49, Denver, CO. Died 12-14-05 in a plane crash. Retired US Airways Capt. with 27,000 hours flying. Graduated from Colorado State University with Business Degree. Pilot’s license at age 16, living on Long Island, N.Y. Flight Instructor, Alaska Pipeline as Co-pilot C-130, United Airlines as Flight Engineer, furloughed, moved to Pittsburgh, PA. with USAIR until early 2005. Flew as Chief Pilot for Amy’s Kitchen in a Cessna Encore prior to his death. Roger and his wife Marion had one son, Justin, and lived in Windsor, CA. Both loved their son and taught him to fly and his cousin John. Roger worked with and helped all of school children.
