CAPT Davis second Vietnam tour was during an emergency deployment with Helicopter Squadron HS-7, aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60). The deployment lasted more than a year and involved combat operations throughout Vietnam and the South China Sea (deployment ended when the Vietnam War formally ended). After Vietnam Capt Davis deployed aboard numerous ships and served with aircraft squadrons throughout the world. He Commanded a helicopter squadron, Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Seven (HS-7) deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F Kennedy during a Major Deployment to the Mediterranean (7 months). As a Senior Naval Officer (O-6) Mr. Davis managed numerous aircraft programs at the Naval Air Systems Command in Washington, DC.
