Thomas Stowe was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force (USAF) and retired as a LtCol.
He worked for Northrop Corp in the mid-1960s as a test pilot.
He was a pilot with United Airlines for 29 years, retiring as a Captain.
He was part owner of a Navy T-34 airplane and was also an instructor for small aircraft.
