Joined United Airlines 4/12/1943. Co-pilot DC-3 – Burbank, CA to 5/44. First flight to Australia w/Air Transport Command May 1, 1944-Co-Pilot C-87 and DC-4s till end of War. Flew troops into Japan and POWs out from Okinawa.
Domestic flying UAL 12/1/45. Captain-1947. Ratings, Air Transport Pilot-DC-3, 6, 7 & 8. Convair 340/440. Boeing 720, 727 & 747. Active ALPA member. Retired 4/1981. 38 wonderful years UAL. Hours as Pilot in Command, 29,600.
