Served three years, 1943-1946, U.S. Army Air Corps. Discharged as Captain, nineteen months overseas service in New Guinea, the Philippines, Okinawa and Japan, with three battle stars.
Later a licensed private pilot and aircraft owner 1969-1998.
Vitally interested in aviation entire lifetime.
