A native of Fresno, California, Captain Burow (1919-1997) was a B-17 instructor pilot during World War II. He trained many pilots who were responsible for victory in Europe. He and his wife Dorothy were married April 18, 1944 in Fresno. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Russell and Nancy Vogt.
