Captain William Jordan “Bill” Kinling, United States Army Air Corps, served his country as a Troop Carrier Pilot flying theC-47 in World War II. Stationed in Italy, Bill flew eleven missions during hostilities resupplying Tito’s Partisans in Yugoslavia and was subsequently awarded the Air Medal.
