1950's Joint Chiefs of Staff; 1958 Commanded USS Ticonderoga CVA-14. Chief of Staff to both Com Car Div 7 and Chief of Naval Air Training. Retired in 1964.
Earned Master's (Classical Greek) and PhD (Humanities), Florida State University. Active in Officers' Christian Fellowship, Gideon's International, Church Elder (PCA), Bible teacher and scholar.
