Captain Reny began his career in aviation early in life having been born the son of an air force/airline pilot and having a mother who also had a strong passion for aviation. After serving in the Army as a recce soldier for 3 years, Captain Reny began his civilian pilot training and found his first flying job on a Canair Cargo Shorts 330 in 1995. After moving on to CV580's, a 737-200 was his first exposure to jets in 1997. A 757 at Royal airlines quickly followed and Canada 3000 became his home until it's bankruptcy in 2001. Skyservice airlines offered his first command on a A320 which he enjoyed until moving on to Emirates where he held command on the A330, A340, and the B777 as a training Captain.
