    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Pam Perdue

As a child in the 40's his love for aviation began with a performance by the Blue Angels in Corpus Christi, Texas. From that inspirational moment he dreamed that someday he would be a military pilot flying fighters for his country. He put himself thru college in the early 60's, then earning his coveted wings from the Air Force on February 8, 1965, and an assignment to fly F4c Phantoms. Within the year he was flying over North Vietnam for 107 missions. His quest answered, he became an airline pilot for Delta Airlines and has since retired. His passion for flight was infectious. His daughter is any airline pilot too.
